Please check this page for road updates as you plan your visits to SMR.

Watch for information about road construction or closures, and whether the snow gates are open or closed.

June 2009:  Magnesium Chloride (MagChloride), a compound very successful at controlling erosion and dust on dirt roads, was applied to the following high-traffic SMR roads in early June:   Birch Creek Road, Spring Creek, Spring View, Fairview and Juniper Drives.
